How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead and mentor specialized nursing teams by providing real-time clinical guidance and education, ensuring every staff member is empowered to deliver excellence.

  • Design strategic patient care assignments based on unit acuity and staff expertise to ensure every patient—from Neonatal to Critical Care—receives safe, population-specific treatment.

  • Prioritize unit resources and workflows by proactively managing equipment, supplies, and physician dynamics to remove barriers to care and keep the shift running smoothly.

  • Champion the patient and family experience by addressing concerns with empathy and professional judgment, ensuring all care meets our highest quality standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
