Title: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health/Psych
Location: Reading, PA (Onsite)
Position: Contract 07:00pm-07:30am, 3 x 12s, every other weekend
Compensation:
Pay Range:$55.00 Per HR
Summary:
• We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in Reading, PA.
• This is an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital dedicated to helping adolescents and adults recover from mental health challenges and co-occurring disorders in a safe, supportive environment.

• As an RN, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care that helps individuals stabilize, recover, and rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide professional nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs.
• Assess physical and behavioral health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess and respond to both physical and behavioral health needs
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Active PA Registered Nurse license
• BLS/CPR required
• De-escalation and restraint certification preferred
• Ability to administer medications and maintain accurate patient records
• Experience with patient admission/discharge processes
