Our private dental practice in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a skilled and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. Please note: we have two well-behaved therapy dogs in the office, so comfort around dogs is a must.
Schedule
Full-time
Ideal schedule (flexible if needed):
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hygiene care, including prophylaxis, SRP, and periodontal maintenance
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and dietary best practices
- Take impressions and digital radiographs
- Apply fluoride, sealants, antibacterial treatments, and Curodont (training provided)
- Assist with recall scheduling
- Maintain a clean, organized operatory and properly maintained instruments
- Support teammates during downtime and contribute to a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Active Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist license
- CPR certification
- Laser knowledge is a plus
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in an office with therapy dogs
Pay & Compensation
- $48–$55 per hour, depending on experience
- PTO and paid sick time
