Registered Dental Assistant

Castle Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking a motivated and patient-focused RegisteredDental Assistant to join our growing team in Leander. If you’re passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to meet you!

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials

• Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations)

• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures

• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

• Update and maintain accurate patient records

• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
• Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
