Our company, a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position that offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead our sales efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, specifically in the manufacturing sector, and will be responsible for driving sales growth within their assigned region. If you are a sales professional with a passion for exceeding sales targets, building relationships, and contributing to a team, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
- Manage, nurture and grow relationships with key customers and potential customers.
- Conduct regular sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of competition status.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve optimal performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Previous experience in hand tool sales, B2B sales, cold calling, outside sales, account management, prospecting, territory sales, enterprise sales, and direct sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven with a track record in meeting sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Must be able to work in a remote setting and manage a team virtually.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
