Location: Houston, TX
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Business Development Managers in meeting with new and existing clients to promote company products and capabilities.
- Actively promote the company product range, highlighting benefits and value propositions relative to competitors.
- Identify market gaps and opportunities where company products and services can be expanded or adapted, collaborating with internal teams to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Ensure customer RFQs are delegated promptly to the Inside Sales team.
- Drive accuracy and consistency in team Sales Pipeline reporting.
- Oversee the recording and collation of Sales and Marketing data within the Sales Pipeline.
- Meet or exceed sales budgets and regional performance targets.
- Ensure the team completes meeting reports and assigns measurable follow-up actions with clear timelines.
- Develop and maintain a structured sales visit schedule to strengthen relationships with new and existing clients.
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in engineering or business-related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing sales professionals
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective, repeatable sales processes
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in sales pipeline management
- Knowledge of pipeline isolation products and services, including hot tapping, line stopping
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales within the oil and gas industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management capacity
- Proven success in the US energy market with direct experience managing regional sales activities
- Ability to analyze market data and sales metrics to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed
- Engaging, trustworthy, and open sales leader who fosters collaboration and accountability
- Highly self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Results-driven and committed to achieving targets through teamwork, leadership, and initiative
