QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor’s degree in business management or related field. Hold a current CCAM designation. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
  • Experience in creation and understanding of budgets, financials, and interpretation of legal documents relating to homeowner’s associations.
  • Expertise in the training personnel and high degree of understanding of Common Interest Developments and the Davis Stirling-Act.
  • Knowledgeable reading and comprehending governing documents including but not limited to CC&R’s, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Final Maps, and Condominium Plans.
  • Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a close relationship with Client Company Board of Directors.
  • Lead by example to both subordinates, and clients by maintaining high standards in performance, competency, integrity and professionalism.
  • Recommend management division policies and procedures to the Director of Management.
  • Implementing Management Division policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Director of Management in staffing, including hiring, as well as performance evaluation of employees of the Management Division.
  • Mentor, guide, evaluate and lead subordinates to higher levels of understanding and efficiency.
  • Design and implement education and training programs for the employees of the Management Division.
  • Manage staff to meet California labor law requirements.
  • Respond to daily Staff and Board inquires for information. Assist in escalated issues and problem resolution.
  • Drive efficiencies that improve client operations and bottom line and also drive the same benefits for The Helsing Group.
  • Increase company portfolio by soliciting new clients as well as attending local industry events and trade shows.
  • Meet with vendors and other industry service providers to increase Brand awareness and reputation.
  • Demonstrate to client companies the value that The Helsing Group brings to their Association.
  • Provide education sessions for Client Company Board of Directors and Association members to increase efficiency and profitability of business relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents and CA Civil Code through monitoring of Management and Association activities.
  • Attend Small Claims Court and other legal proceedings at direction of Client Board of Directors.
  • Minimize employee turnover on client accounts.
  • Oversee the day to day work flow of tasks, paper work and communication for the Regional Office.
  • Audit all Association files assure the highest quality and consistency.
  • Analyze complex financial statements, tracking, and projections and train employees on proper interpretation

Supervises: Community Association Managers, Certified Community Association Managers, Senior Managers, Management Team Supervisors.

The Regional Manager is responsible for the oversight and operations SF Bay Area Region. While the position requires a significant amount of time in the office the Regional Manager is required to attend off site meetings with current and prospective clients. It is imperative that the Regional Manager be always available to direct and assist staff members and clients.
