The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract skilled candidates for production, maintenance, engineering, and other manufacturing roles.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit within a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-boarding support.
• Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment data.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Participate in local job fairs and industry events to build employer brand awareness and network with potential candidates.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for a variety of manufacturing, production, or engineering roles.
• Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates for specialized industrial skill sets.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, processes, and technical terminology.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, particularly for technical roles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades, engineering, or production leadership roles.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish) relevant to a diverse manufacturing workforce.
• Existing network within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
