Gedeon GRC Consulting is looking for a Recruiter to join our firm. This candidate will possess the ability to assess candidates' skills, experience, and relevant knowledge and compare them to job requirements. The ideal candidate will have an academic HR background combined with experience in talent sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates.
The Recruiter is responsible for collaborating with department managers to proactively identify hiring needs and attract qualified candidates using various sourcing methods, including social media networks and employee referrals. This role is responsible for ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees while maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
SALARY RANGE:
$50,000.00 - $72,000.00 annually, Pay commensurate with experience.
LOCATION:
Options of Remote, Hybrid or in Office at our Syosset, NY, Princeton, NJ or Newark, NJ locations.
TRAVEL:
This position requires minimal travel (less than 10%).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
❖ Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
❖ Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
❖ Conducting interviews, assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
❖ Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/colleges, etc.
❖ Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
❖ Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
❖ Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
❖ Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
❖ Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
❖ Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
❖ Proactively develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance.
❖ Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
❖ Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
❖ Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
❖ Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
❖ Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
❖ Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
❖ Coordinate college recruiting initiatives & career fairs.
❖ Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
❖ Manage the use of staffing agencies & headhunters.
❖ Performs other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
❖ Bachelor's degree (BS) from four-year College or university in Human Resources, Business Management or related field; or two (2) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
❖ Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
❖ Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).
❖ Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).

❖ Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for candidate sourcing, outreach, and managing administrative functions such as job postings, candidate pipelines, and reporting.

❖ Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
