A Long Island-based nonprofit services organization is actively seeking a new Talent Acquisition Recruiter to source and hire team members for various roles.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 5+ months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (35 hours/week; 1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Department: Human Resources
Responsibilities:
- Supporting business goals with timely recruitment
- Pre-screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates
- Acting as a liaison in the hiring process
- Developing recruitment strategies
- Facilitating requisition processes
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Recruitment experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Knowledge of HR policies and laws
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Recruitment metrics
- Report Preparation skills
