The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for production, engineering, skilled trades, and management roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Conduct full-cycle recruitment, from initial requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding support, for various manufacturing positions.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing hiring managers and department heads to understand specific staffing needs and job requirements.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates for critical manufacturing roles.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for manufacturing operations.
• Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific events to identify top manufacturing talent.
• Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate candidate data and efficient recruitment processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for various manufacturing, production, or industrial roles.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, technical skills, and operational environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced sourcing strategies for specialized technical and skilled trades positions.
• Strong ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, often in a high-volume and fast-paced setting.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with hiring managers at all levels, including plant leadership.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience recruiting for skilled trades (e.g., welders, machinists) or engineering roles within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with specific Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) or CRM tools.
• Understanding of common manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, assembly, welding).
• Experience in developing and promoting employer brand specifically for manufacturing talent.
