The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and engineering.
• Collaborate with hiring managers across production, quality, and engineering departments to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-employment checks.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, and professional networks to identify and engage potential candidates.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit within a manufacturing environment.
• Advise on market trends, compensation, and competitive intelligence within the manufacturing sector.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, or skilled trades roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, processes, and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill positions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes and technical terminology.
• Experience with high-volume, hourly recruitment strategies.
• Fluency in Spanish or another language prevalent in the local workforce.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Established network within local manufacturing communities or trade schools.
