Recreation Assistant – Be the Friendly Face of Summer Fun!
Do you love helping people, staying organized, and being part of an energetic team? The Don Rodenbaugh Aquatic Center is looking for friendly, dependable Recreation Assistants to help keep things running smoothly this summer while creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors!
You’ll be the go-to person at the front desk—answering questions, supporting programs, and helping our community make the most of our Aquatics Center and fitness facilities.

Steps to Become a Recreation Assistant
1. Apply- Complete and submit your Camp Counselor application online.
- Schedule a virtual interview between March 1, 2026, and March 14, 2026, or
- Attend an in-person interview at our Hiring Fair on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Allen Senior Center (451 St. Mary Dr., Allen, TX 75002). Learn more about the Hiring Fair.
