Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Recovery Specialist – Inpatient to support clients during one of the most critical phases of the substance use recovery process. This role provides medical and emotional support within a structured, residential treatment environment and is ideal for individuals motivated to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
This position supports a male-only inpatient program, ensuring safety, structure, and therapeutic engagement while assisting clients as they transition to step-down levels of care.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
• Observe and supervise clients and conduct 30-minute well-being checks
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and assist with admissions processes
• Search client belongings at admission and discharge in accordance with policy
• Complete all required checklists, shift documentation, and records accurately and on time
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
• Support clients through structured programming, case management, and group services

Required Skills & Qualifications
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work afternoon/evening shifts in an inpatient setting
• Strong interpersonal, observation, and documentation skills

Preferred:
• Experience working with substance use disorder populations
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing

Additional Requirement:
• Must be separated from any BILH-affiliated facility for a minimum of 6 months prior to consideration
