Agile Decision Sciences (ADS,) a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Records Information Manager to support our nationwide contract to provide the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with library and records management services. REQUIREMENTS:


+ BA/BS degree (or an Associate's degree) and records or library experience that includes a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience.

+ Ability to work on-site with our EPA customer; NARA certification/training is a plus.

+ Records management experience, including filing paper and electronic records, entering data into records management systems, preparing records for disposition or retiring, and usage of records retention schedules.

+ Customer service skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail required.

+ Experience/proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience with SharePoint is a plus.

+ Ability to work independently and in teams, to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, to prioritize and manage multiple on-going projects, to quickly adapt to change, and to meet deadlines.

+ E_xperience working with federal record schedules is a strong plus._

+ Physical requirements include the ability to have full range of arm motion; including lifting above the head, ability to bend, stooping and kneeling, ability to routinely lift and carry 40 lbs. in weight, to push or pull 200 lbs. on carts, to push or pull 1200 lbs. via pallet jack, ability to use step ladders to reach materials on upper shelves. Candidate should also be comfortable sitting at computer workstation for long periods of time.

+ US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident status in order to pass a government sponsored background investigation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Support our nationwide contract by providing records management to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) onsite in Lenexa, KS.

+ Oversee the day-to day operation of the Records Center; supervise and train staff on systems and procedures, triage technical problems.

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the government client. Manage aspects of the financial and contractual obligations of the task order including tracking and submission of monthly deliverables.

+ Utilize electronic records management systems (databases) for search, retrieval, and document metadata creation, applying records retention schedules to files for the purposes of retention, archiving and disposition, and preparation and review of file plans.

+ Respond to complex customer inquiries, oversee records organization projects, participate in agency records management groups, and provide records training.

+ Oversee records imaging and digital document processing, develops and uses quality assurance methods to ensure a high degree of accuracy.

+ Oversee the preparation and shipment of large batches of records to EPA’s National Digitization Center West.
