Receptionist (Onsite, $18/hour)

Our client is a mission‑driven non‑profit, and they are seeking a warm, organized, and service‑oriented Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our organization. The Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression for clients, visitors, donors, and partners. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, dependable, and passionate about supporting meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, clients, and volunteers with warmth and professionalism
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, filing, and mail handling
- Assist staff with meeting coordination and logistics
- Provide information about programs, services, and events
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure adherence to safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus
- Two years of previous reception or administrative experience preferred-non‑profit experience a bonus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office technology
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- A welcoming demeanor and commitment to providing outstanding service

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (onsite only)
