Overview:
This is a front-office support role at a plumbing/HVAC/mechanical company. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers while also handling administrative and office support tasks in a small, busy team environment. This company standard is similar to a “white glove” concierge position.
This is a front-office support role at a plumbing/HVAC/mechanical company. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers while also handling administrative and office support tasks in a small, busy team environment. This company standard is similar to a “white glove” concierge position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Answer calls, greet customers, and manage appointments
- Provide customer service, including handling questions and resolving issues
- Process payments and enter customer/service data into systems
- Perform administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and recordkeeping
- Manage office operations (supplies, mail, equipment, kitchen upkeep) Support team members with general office needs
- Must be able to provide customer service to clients’ needs from beginning to end
- Comfortable with asking questions or suggesting improvements
- There may be occasional 24/7 service calls for emergencies (perhaps once a month max)
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years’ experience in Receptionist / Customer Service work history with demonstrated tenure
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to respond to difficult Customers/Clients and handle shifting priorities while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic tech systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Calm under pressure with good problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site daily
- High school diploma required; industry familiarity is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs and sit for long periods
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Worksite: 100% in office – no remote/hybrid
