Our Chandler client is seeking a Receiving Specialist to join their growing team.
Receiving & Logistics Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Quality Control: Accurately verify incoming shipments against documentation, inspect materials for quality and correct specifications (part number, quantity), document all discrepancies, and ensure proper labeling and staging of materials.
Inventory Management & Systems: Execute receipts, manage stock locations, perform regular inventory audits , and maintain accurate records using SAP or other ERP systems . Utilize Microsoft Outlook for professional communication.
Material Handling & Safety: Safely operate a forklift to unload, move, and store materials, adhering to a proven safety record and performing daily equipment inspections.
Shipment & Logistics: Handle and process domestic (UPS, FedEx) and international shipments , including necessary customs documentation and bills of lading. Provide backup support for shipping operations.
Collaboration & Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory Control, Quality, and Shipping personnel.
