We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full time Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing real estate transactions, preparing closing documents, and ensuring all legal requirements are met. This position requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, exceptional deadline management skills, and extensive knowledge of Real Estate Transactions and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of real estate transactions, from the initial drafting of contracts to the final closing.
- Prepare, review, and revise various legal documents such as deeds, leases, purchase agreements, and closing documents.
- Conduct title searches, prepare title commitments and title insurance policies.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings.
- Coordinate and manage deadlines to ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
- Keep track of and maintain UCC filings, and monitor for any changes that may affect our clients.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as file management and document control.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal.
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent is preferred.
- Proficient in real estate transaction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate law, transactions, and the UCC.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
