Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing, validating and processing real estate and appraisal documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of all documents.
  • Utilizing YouConnect software for efficient reporting and tracking of document processing.
  • Ensuring that all documents meet lending and credit regulations and guidelines.
  • Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues with documents and reporting them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge about current lending and credit regulations and changes in the mortgage industry.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing any queries or concerns related to document processing.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with existing Credit Policy Manual and Lending Procedures Manual.
  • Understanding function and utilization of Loan Forms related to Real Estate Services
  • Working knowledge of Lending Compliance Regulations and Procedures, Real Estate Services, Lending
  • Records, Collateral Servicing and Loan Servicing Procedures.
  • Ability to conduct high level review of documentation packages for form and content and make

recommendations.
  • Ability to handle non-standard loan related situations and make recommendations and/or make decisions,

as appropriate.
  • The ability to demonstrate critical thinking by independent review of complex loan(s) and by assisting
  • Overall knowledge & ability to perform lending staff functions.
  • Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
  • Lending Regulations and Requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in a role related to document processing, lending, or credit.
  • Proven experience with YouConnect or a similar software platform.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of lending and credit regulations and guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
