Ready Mix Concrete Batch Operator High Hill, MO - Montgomery County

We are looking for an experienced Ready Mix Concrete Batch Plant Operator for our location in High Hill, Mo in Montgomery County. This is a full time position with possibility of extensive overtime.

Plant operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the plant on a daily basis. This includes batching, preventative maintenance of the plant, management of drivers and ensuring plant adheres to all regulations and permit conditions. Safety must be #1 priority.

Responsibilities-

• Batch concrete into ready mix trucks, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Manage batch plant as well as oversee ready mix drivers and haulers.
• Remain level headed during stressful situations.
• Job requires climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, stretching, driving, sitting and occasional lifting of 50+ pounds.
• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on transit mix batch plant.
• Operate front end loader for material handling.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels for all materials.

Experience-

• Experience with Command/Alkon batching system is desired.
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience in the concrete industry.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of concrete mix designs and admixtures is desired.
• Good attitude and ability to multi-task.
• Must be available, as needed, for overtime hours.
• Welding and cutting experience is a plus.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
