We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating reach trucks and related material handling equipment to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and movement of products within the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

**This position is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening at a local clinic, as well as a criminal background check prior to placement.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move, store, and retrieve materials
• Load and unload shipments while ensuring proper handling and placement of products
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory and complete warehouse transactions
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying counts and inspecting for damage
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity and operational goals
• Perform heavy lifting as required, following proper lifting techniques

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator or in a similar warehouse/distribution role
• Familiarity with material handling equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, or stand-up equipment
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on workplace safety
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
• Reach truck certification preferred but not required; training may be provided
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screening at a local clinic
• Flexibility to work assigned 1st or 2nd shift
