Job Description: Attend to live horses including feeding, watering, loading. administer meds, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; clean stalls, pens, and equipment. Workers must also halter-break and care for young horses. Responsible for managing and harvesting grass and hay fields. Work hours are 7 AM-5PM Monday through Sunday; days off rotate. Anticipated Hours of work per week: 48 hours weekly. Schedule: Monday - Saturday (8 hours). 7AM-5PM. Pay: $15.55 hourly. Paid weekly. Effective 1/1/24, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers, after 54 hours worked per week for non-highly seasonal employers, and after 56 hours worked per week for small employers.
