Join Our Team as a Radiology Interventional Physician
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Interventional Physician to join our esteemed interventional radiology department. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures including kyphoplasty, ablations, peripheral artery disease (PAD) interventions, gastric alcohol embolization (GAE), and other high-end IR treatments.
- Support and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Manage 8-15 patients daily across varying age groups in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including maintaining necessary certifications and licensure.
Required Skills:
- Board-certified in Radiology with specialized fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
- Active medical license and DEA registration.
- Minimum of a few years’ experience practicing interventional radiology.
- Proficiency in performing complex IR procedures and interpreting relevant imaging studies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work daytime shifts, 3 days per week, 12 hours each (07:30 - 16:00).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with high-end IR procedures like kyphoplasty, ablations, PAD interventions, or GAE.
- Prior experience working in a hospital environment with Epic EMR.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- IR fellowship completion.
- At least 2-3 years of post-fellowship IR practice experience in a hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
- Current Board Certification in Radiology.
- Valid Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license (if applicable).
- Active DEA registration.
- Ability to commence work within 120 days, with flexibility for expedited credentialing if needed.
