Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Location: West Hollywood, CA 90048
Working Hours: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM – 06:00 PM), Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation
Department: Mammography / Imaging

Position Summary:

The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures (2D & 3D) in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. This position supports breast imaging services across the main campus, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care. The ideal candidate demonstrates technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to float to various imaging areas as needed within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 2D and 3D imaging.
• Assist with specialized procedures such as wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic breast biopsies.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort throughout all imaging procedures.
• Adhere to departmental protocols, radiation safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Float to other imaging departments within the main campus as operationally required.
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and exam data.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support timely diagnosis and patient-centered care.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report issues for service or maintenance.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant imaging environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid California Mammography Technologist License & CRT (M).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation (shift hours between 07:30 AM–06:00 PM; may vary per department needs).
• Experience performing high-volume mammography (daily caseload ~150).
• Strong understanding of breast anatomy, positioning techniques, and radiation safety.
• Ability to float within main campus departments as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT Certification (M) – Highly preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic breast imaging equipment such as TrueBeam, Elekta Versa HD, CT Simulators, or similar platforms.
• Previous traveler experience (First-time travelers are accepted).
• Familiarity with quality control standards and MQSA regulations.
