Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
• Possession of NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit.
• Certification through ARRT-RT and/or registered RT (R).
• Completion of continuing education requirements as per governing standards.
• DOH IV certification preferred or within 6 months of orientation.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work holidays, overtime, and various shifts as needed.
Qualifications
• Experience in preparing and positioning patients for examinations.
• Proficiency in operating radiology equipment and performing quality assurance.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness and reporting equipment issues.
• Capability to assist physicians during procedures.
• Experience in providing clinical instructions to students.
• Ability to handle routine office tasks and patient communications.
• Skilled in providing age-appropriate care for various patient populations.
