Radiologic Technologist-Highlands

Performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients.

Minimum Education: 

• Must be a graduate of an approved two or four ‑year program

Minimum Work Experience: 

• Clinical program completion

Required Licenses/Certifications: 

• Must possess or be eligible for a KY state license

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: 

nAbility to communicate effectively and document information accurately

nAbility to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals

nKnowledge of basic medical terminology preferred

nBasic computer knowledge is preferred

nAbility to move or lift patients and equipment

nAbility to work independently within general guidelines

nAbility to communicate in English, both orally and written

nRequired to comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing
