Job Details
General Job Duties:
- Routine radioactivity measurements including source measurements.
- Daily check and maintenance of instrumentation.
- Radioassay and Quality Management System Program.
- Final Quality Control – back-up support.
- Customer source complaints and returns for calibration – back-up support.
- Laboratory record keeping, paperwork handling, and filing.
- Performs other duties as required by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum education (or substitute experience) required: AA degree in a technical field. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
- Minimum experience required: 1-2 years of experience in an Operations, Production, or Laboratory setting.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Must be able to travel and work in Valencia and Burbank.
- Must be available to work overtime as required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent planning, organization, and flexibility to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.
- Motivated self-starter.
- Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in Final QC a plus.
