Our client, a leading organization in bioprocessing research and development, is seeking a R&D Process Development Engineer to join their team. As a R&D Process Development Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative projects in membrane and filter manufacturing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: R&D Process Development Engineer

Location: Camarillo, California

Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000

What's the Job?

  • Lead and manage research and development projects focused on membrane and filter manufacturing processes.
  • Design and develop mechanical equipment and prototypes using CAD tools to support chemical processing innovations.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to scale-up processes from prototype to pilot and production levels.
  • Ensure seamless technology transfer of R&D activities to manufacturing, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Support membrane development projects by providing technical expertise and equipment support.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in process development or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD design, mechanical equipment development, and materials testing.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners.
  • Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
