Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the R&D team in the development of new gummy and hydrocolloid products from concept to commercialization.
2. Conduct in-depth research and development to improve existing products and create innovative new products.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, and Quality Assurance to ensure the successful launch of new products.
4. Oversee the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
5. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the gummy and hydrocolloid industry, and incorporate these insights into product development.
6. Develop and manage the R&D budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
7. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards in all R&D activities.
8. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D within the food manufacturing industry, with a focus on gummy and hydrocolloid products.
3. Strong knowledge of food science, chemistry, and the properties of hydrocolloids.
4. Proven experience in managing a team and leading successful product development projects.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. A passion for creating delicious and high-quality gummy products.
10. Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the gummy and hydrocolloid industry.
