Job Title: R&D Lab Technician
Location: Valhalla, NY (On-site)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking R&D Lab Technicians with a strong background in Chemistry or Biology to support laboratory operations and product testing. The role involves hands-on lab work, analysis of food samples, and collaboration with scientists to advance research and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of food samples using aseptic techniques.

• Prepare samples for processing and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.

• Conduct, support, and record scientific investigations and experiments.

• Plan, set up, and execute controlled trials and test runs.

• Collect, prepare, and test raw materials and product samples.

• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data.

• Demonstrate lab procedures and maintain high-quality lab practices.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.

• Experience: 2 years of laboratory experience in food science, microbiology, or related discipline.

• Proven ability to execute bench work and support technical center test runs.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Team-oriented with the ability to work closely with scientists on assigned projects.
