Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs), blueprints, and technical specifications to determine manufacturing feasibility and cost drivers.
• Calculate comprehensive costs for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to validate technical requirements, lead times, and resource availability.
• Utilize ERP systems and specialized quoting software to generate detailed proposals and pricing structures.
• Prepare and submit professional, accurate, and timely quotes to customers, adhering to established pricing strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of all quotes, pricing, and customer communications for historical reference and analysis.
• Follow up on submitted quotes, address customer inquiries, and negotiate pricing as needed to secure orders.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for cost modeling, margin analysis, and pricing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, CRM software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal teams and external customers.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in complex data entry and calculations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and modeling.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD models.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles or financial analysis.
