Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs), blueprints, and specifications to define project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to gather accurate cost and lead time information.
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs using established pricing models and ERP systems.
• Prepare detailed and professional quote proposals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
• Utilize quoting software and CRM to manage and track all active and pending quotes.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding quote clarifications, revisions, and status updates.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all quoting activities and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/CRM systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, material costs, and labor rates.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience utilizing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for cost data retrieval.
• Ability to interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) on technical drawings.
• Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, fabrication, injection molding).
• Proficiency in advanced Excel for complex pricing models or data analysis.
