Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex)

Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a Quality Technician (Server Racks-BOTs/Control Modules/Flex) for their Foster City, CA location.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out IQC, IPQC and OQC tasks across multitudes of parts ranging from rack server assemblies, PCBAs, and other complex electro-mechanical power and control sub-assembly modules.
- Basic knowledge of the use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges, DVM, oscilloscopes, and other measuring tools.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into a quality database.
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper maintenance of quality records in compliance with internal procedures, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure correct quality movement of products (physical and virtual) throughout the entire serialized manufacturing process.
- Assist engineers with proper MRB disposition activities
- Identify and initiate non conformances, participate in the root cause analysis and assign them to correct individuals.
- Perform Calibration and maintain test/measurement equipment to ISO requirements as required
- Submit PPAP documentation for approval
- Suggest improvements to quality inspection processes and procedures.
- Comply with safety regulations and the Client safety program
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 8 to 10 years of progressive QA experience in a fully or semi-automated serialized production environment of complex electro-mechanical assemblies (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, Robotic industry).
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, SAP/Oracle ERP software and MS Office/Google Suite.
- Strong organizational, verbal and written communication. skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle tight deadlines and manage competing demands effectively.
- Experience in complex high end computer/rack assembly, testing and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485 standards
