We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Quality Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for quality and a passion for continuous improvement. As a Quality Specialist, you will be a key player in ensuring our products meet and exceed the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with various teams, including production, engineering, and suppliers to drive quality improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of automation, artificial intelligence, and supplier quality management.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
2. Design and implement testing processes, and establish quality standards for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
3. Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
4. Perform root cause analysis of quality issues, developing corrective actions, and leading the implementation of those actions across the production process.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and maintained, and to initiate improvements where necessary.
6. Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline quality control processes and improve efficiency.
7. Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data and trends.
8. Review supplier purchase orders and contracts to ensure that all necessary quality requirements are included.
9. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams, and train team members to use quality control techniques.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, automation, AI, and supplier quality management.
3. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience with AI and automation tools and their application in quality control.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Experience in managing suppliers and understanding of supplier quality requirements.
8. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
9. Certification in Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing, or Quality Management is a plus.
