The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
- Oversee all quality control and assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and audits.
- Manage and lead the quality assurance team, providing training and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Conduct internal and external audits (supplier, customer, certification) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to integrate quality processes throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage non-conforming materials and products, ensuring proper disposition and effective corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100)
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience managing supplier quality development and auditing programs
- Demonstrated experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) quality processes (e.g., APQP, PPAP)
