Quality Manager

This role is central to maintaining and elevating quality standards within the organization. You'll champion compliance with IATF 16949 and meet specific client benchmarks. The position involves leading the plant's quality team, handling all hiring, training, and performance evaluations. As a key player, you'll act as the Quality Systems Management Representative, oversee key quality performance indicators, and report discrepancies to upper management. You'll craft strategic action plans for achieving optimal metrics, supporting new production launches, and handling engineering requirements. Duties include developing, updating, and controlling quality protocols and leading various internal and external audits. You'll be responsible for facilitating problem-resolution processes, interfacing with automotive customers, managing complaints, and driving quality threshold initiatives such as 8D or Six Sigma methods. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement projects, ensuring all production and inspection processes support overall quality goals. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, significant quality leadership experience, and expertise in compliance standards and analytical methodologies.
