Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Own the Quality function budget, managing costs and resources in alignment with business priorities.
2. Serve as the primary owner for customer quality issues, including investigation, root cause analysis, and formal corrective action responses (SCARs).
3. Oversee the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
4. Coordinate and participate in internal audits and external customer or regulatory audits.
5. Partner with key stakeholders to drive quality improvements across the organization.
6. Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
7. Support advanced product quality planning in high‑reliability product development and NPI programs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred; Mechanical, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering also acceptable).
2. At least 5 years of experience in a people‑management or quality leadership role.
3. Demonstrated experience supporting advanced product quality planning in high‑reliability product development and NPI programs.
4. Strong hands‑on experience with APQP tools including Process Flow Diagrams, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and process capability analysis (Preferred).
5. AS9100 auditor experience and/or professional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ CQM, or CQE (Preferred).
6. Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Strong commitment to ensuring quality and meeting the expectations of customers.
10. Proven track record of implementing successful quality initiatives.
