We are a growing manufacturing organization operating one of our newest production facilities in the Midwest. Our operations focus on processing bulk liquid and dry products across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Finished products ship via tankers, railcars, and packaged formats, supporting high-volume industrial and agricultural markets. Our quality team plays a hands-on role in real-time production support, not delayed batch testing, helping operators maintain consistency, safety, and performance as demand scales seasonally.

Job Details

This contract Quality Lab Technician will support raw material, in-process, and finished product testing in a fast-paced production environment where turnaround time matters. Samples are tested immediately upon arrival in the lab with priority levels based on operational needs. Over time, this role will grow into providing in-process adjustment guidance to operators and performing batch tests ahead of production to support quality outcomes.

You will work alongside a four-person lab team and report directly to the local Quality Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in real time
  • Support bulk liquid and dry product production across tankers, railcars, and packaged formats
  • Perform batch testing in advance and provide feedback to operations
  • Help guide in-process quality adjustments as experience grows
  • Maintain documentation and support quality systems and standards
  • Collaborate closely with production and quality leadership

Schedule & Term
  • 6:00am–2:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm
  • Contract role for approximately 6 months due to seasonal production surge

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science field preferred but not required
  • Experience in lab testing or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Comfortable working in real-time production support settings
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Must pass a federal drug screen
