Quality Inspector

Pay will be between $22/hour & $33/hour depending on experience. 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
Job Description
- Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
- Performing and approve the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins
- Read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
- Recommend adjustments to the process or assembly
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gages, or micrometers
- Accept or reject finished items
- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
- Report inspection and test data
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection
- Perform 1st Piece Inspections
- Verify and document that materials are manufactured to blueprint requirements
- Maintain acceptable quality levels during manufacture of products and assemblies
- Identify and resolve problems, effectively manage change and deal with conflict in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers and AS9100 Aerospace Standards/MIL Standards
- Able to operate electronic inspection equipment, such as coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs)
Requirements
- 1 5 years work experience or related manufacturing work experience required
- ITAR regulations - US Citizen or Permanent Resident
