Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Catoosa, OK (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

System One is partnering with our client in search of a Quality Inspector to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for electro-mechanical assemblies. You will conduct comprehensive inspections throughout the manufacturing process, verifying that products meet engineering specifications and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of electro-mechanical assemblies, including mechanical parts, piping, brackets, wiring, lighting, and enclosures.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges to accurately verify dimensions and features.
  • Interpret and apply engineering blueprints, customer specifications, and quality plans to ensure compliance.
  • Record inspection results electronically, documenting both conforming and non-conforming products to maintain traceability.
  • Handle nonconforming products in accordance with established procedures, including segregation and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure assemblies meet all engineering and quality standards.
  • Conduct pneumatic pressure and leak testing (preferred) to verify product integrity.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all inspection activities.
  • Uphold Standard of Excellence by following company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications in quality inspection is a plus.
  • Prior experience in an ISO 9001 environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including email, data entry, spreadsheets, and record-keeping.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual inspection tasks.
  • Attention to detail with a meticulous, safety-conscious mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience with pneumatic pressure or leak testing techniques is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of NEC codes is a plus.
