They are looking to add a Quality Inspection Supervisor to their team who is responsible for overseeing all activities within the Inspection Department to ensure products meet applicable aerospace specifications and customer requirements.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily supervision, assignment, and coordination of Inspectors to maintain an efficient flow of product through the department.
- Handle labor-relations matters for union employees and assist with training new inspectors.
- Develop, review, and update inspection procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain all required inspection documentation with strong accuracy and traceability.
- Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated, maintained, and procured when needed.
- Verify and certify inspections are performed according to required standards.
- Support plant-wide calibration efforts.
- Provide key performance metrics related to inspection activities.
- Support internal audits and drive productivity initiatives within the department.
- Ensure all inspection functions meet strict aerospace quality and traceability requirements.
- Work under the direction of Operations leadership.
- Maintain effective communication across all organizational levels, including customers, suppliers, and government representatives.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of quality experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a union environment.
- Prior experience as a Quality Engineer, Inspector, or Tester preferred.
- BSME or EE degree desirable.
- Familiarity with aerospace or defense products is a strong advantage.
- Experience serving as a customer-designated quality representative is highly valued.
