The Quality Engineer will work in a fast paced, machine shop oriented manufacturing environment
- Implement and facilitate lean and six sigma methodologies
- Training employees in quality methods
- Implementing quality control plans and standards
- Identifying root causes of defects/waste
- Responsible for corrective action program, internal & external
- Hands on quality support on the manufacturing floor
- Manage all external & internal audit programs, perform data and analysis
- Assist in supplier selection, qualification, and performance
- Manage UL and other product requirements
- Assist in achieving ISO 9001 compliance
