Quality Engineer - CMM Programmer
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of QC/QA procedures throughout the company.
- Perform internal audits, may at times perform supplier audits.
- Assist the VP of Quality in the following as needed: organization's quality system and improvement efforts, such as developing, implementing and administrating the program; training and coaching employees; and facilitating needed changes in the organization.
- Assist in establishing policies and procedures at all levels to ensure quality improvement efforts will meet or exceed internal and external customer needs and expectations.
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the company.
- Responsible for dealing with customers and suppliers on quality or performance issues.
- Support the quality and manufacturing areas in quality assurance engineering, and inspection functions.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years’ experience in Quality.
- Engineering Degree Required! Math or Statistical Mayor Strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical individuals.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to Program and use Vision/CMM measuring systems and to design and develop fixturing a plus.
- Experience with Data Collection Software, Statistical Software, MS Office: Excel, Access, Word,
- Must have requirements including GD&T, Tolerance Stacks, Print Generation, Quality Engineering, CMM/Zeiss Programming Capabilities and / or SmartScope (Vision System) Programming.
PowerPoint, VB for applications a plus.
