Quality Control Technician

currently seeking a hardworking and motivated Quality Control Technician to join our team.
Functions:
-Test and document fresh concrete in accordance with industry standards.
-Test and document hardened concrete in accordance with industry standards.
-Monitor quality of, and test conformance to, standards of incoming raw materials.
-Learn the operations of the batch plant and batching system
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Solid math skills
-Solid understanding of plant practices and quality control procedures
-Ability to diagnose and remedy concrete strength or consistency problems
-Strong problem-solving, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
-Good attendance and a positive attitude are a must
-All QC personnel must be team players, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-Maintain clear and precise records according to internal program testing of concrete to ensure concrete meets project
specifications
-Perform concrete and aggregate testing is required
-Other duties as assigned by the Manager
Education and Experience:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Three to five years of experience in a related field is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
-Be able to stand for extended periods of time .
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time (7 am- 5 pm). Due to the nature of the business, overtime will be recurrent.

-Dayton, OH: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)
License/Certification: (Preferred but not required. Must obtain after being hired)
-ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician-Grade I
-ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
-ACI Self-Consolidating Concrete Testing Technician
-NPCA PQS I
-PCI Level 1 and 2
