Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Coordinator to lead and support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives at a non-manufacturing site that supports functions such as Sales, Quoting, Customer Service, and Product Design. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while driving continuous improvement across processes.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with site leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance QMS performance, while also supporting quality initiatives across manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

·         Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100.

·         Maintain and analyze site quality metrics; communicate performance trends and recommend improvement actions.

·         Support QMS alignment and integration with other manufacturing and support locations.

·         Coordinate and participate in external audits conducted by certification bodies, act as a liaison between auditors and internal teams.

·         Manage and enhance the internal audit program in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.

·         Coordinate Management Review activities and support cross-site quality initiatives.

·         Deliver QMS-related training and maintain associated documentation and records.

·         Oversee document control processes, including updates to the Quality Manual and related documentation.

·         Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.

·         Investigate internal and external non-conformances (NCs) and drive resolution.

·         Track and evaluate continuous improvement projects for effectiveness and business impact.

·         Analyze data and trends related to customer satisfaction, complaints, and operational processes.

·         Support documents change management processes and other administrative quality functions as needed.

Required Qualifications

·         Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (mandatory); familiarity with IATF 16949 and AS9100 preferred.

·         Experience conducting internal audits and managing audit programs.

·         Hands-on experience with CAPA systems and root cause analysis.

·         Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

·         High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education & Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.

·         7–10 years of experience working within or managing a QMS compliant with ISO 9001:2015.

·         Certification as a Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 preferred).

·         Experience supporting compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

·         Strong project management and leadership skills.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems/tools.
