Local Manufacturing Company / Quality Control Inspector

Job Duties:

• Inspect product using appropriate means such as calibrated precision measuring equipment, visual inspection, or other defined methods of inspection.
• Perform corrective actions, internal & external audits, RMAs, Non-Conforming Material Reports, supplier quality processes, calibrations, and First Article Inspections.  
• Constantly position self (kneel/crouch/crawl/climb) for inspections of product(s).
• Ability to physically move material/product(s).
• Report quality related issues.
• Actively work in the Inspection process and with other Departments to perform duties.
• Assist in maintaining quality records.

Job Requirements:·       

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel beneficial.
• 1+ years Previous Inspection Experience.
• Manufacturing operations experience (purchasing, fabrication, machining, assembly, shipping, etc.) would be beneficial; previous experience in aviation manufacturing would be desired.
• A working knowledge of Part 21 FAA regulations such as PMA and STC is beneficial.
• A working knowledge of ERP business systems, such as the Visual Business System that Transland uses, is beneficial.
