Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Analyst Auditor in Chino, CA.

We are looking for a hands-on experienced Customer Quality Auditor Inspector. This is a critical, high-activity role where you will work directly on the production floor alongside an engineering team to ensure every product meets standards before it reaches the customer.

The Core Focus

• On-the-Floor Impact: This is a dynamic, "on-the-floor" role. You won’t just be behind a desk; you’ll be a visible presence in the plant, conducting random and scheduled audits to maintain production excellence.
• Data-Driven Auditing: Utilize your Excel skills to prepare detailed reports and share audit outcomes with both internal teams and external clients.
• Technical Precision: Use precision hand tools (calipers, pin gauges, height indicators) to verify products against Symphony drawing specifications and Quality Control plans.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and test products, outbound shipments, and consolidated pallets.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to improve audit plans and documentation for other personnel.
• Review and optimize Quality Controls like Poka Yokes and Jidokas.
• Perform Gage R&R and capability studies to ensure measurement reliability.
• Champion digital quality tools to identify and implement system improvements.
• Make critical "accept or reject" decisions on finished products and lead discussions with Continuous Improvement teams.

This is a Full-time Temp to Hire opportunity!

Schedule: 1st Shift: 9:00am - 5:30pm (Monday – Friday) +Possible OT during the week (Possible Saturday's)

The Ideal candidate will have: 

• Hands-on Experience: Proven ability to use basic hand tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to interpret blueprints, symbols, and geometric tolerances (military and commercial specs).
• Tech Proficiency: High comfort level with computers, Excel, and automated systems.
• Leadership Mentality: A strong teammate who can influence others to follow regulations and maintain high standards.
• Communication: Clear written and oral skills to present technical findings to managers and clients.
• Education: High school diploma or GED is Required and will be Verified.
• Must Pass: Background Screen, Employment History, and Drug Screen

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
