Quality Assurance Tester

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans and test cases
• Execute manual testing across web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Test new features before release to production
• Collaborate with developers on quality issues
• Participate in sprint planning and standups
• Suggest process improvements for quality
• Learn and implement automated testing over time

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 2-4 years of software QA testing experience
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Experience writing clear test cases and bug reports
• Detail oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills
• Good communication with technical teams
• Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira
• Basic SQL skills for database testing helpful
• Self motivated to work independently remote
