Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Hastings, NE 68902
Pay: $21.50 $27.50 per hour (based on education and experience)
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Friday | 3: 15 p.M. 11: 45 p.M.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our client's 2nd shift team in Hastings. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and precision of die-cast aluminum parts throughout every stage of production. If you enjoy working with data, blueprints, precision tools, and continuous improvement processes, this opportunity offers both challenge and long-term stability.
What You ll Do
Monitor and maintain quality standards across all stages of the manufacturing process
Test and inspect die-cast aluminum parts for compliance with specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to verify dimensions
Identify defects and recommend process adjustments
Utilize precision gauging tools and measurement techniques
Conduct internal QMS, gauge, and process audits
Interpret inspection data and document findings accurately
Collaborate with production teams to support quality improvements
One-year certificate from a college or technical school OR 1 3 years of related experience
Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collect and analyze data
Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is preferred but not required
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
All additional skills needed for success will be provided through on-the-job training.
